One issue you might be investigating is about Fluoridation of water supplies. Fluoride is added to drinking water to help with dental health.

What are sugary drinks???
The answer may surprise you!!! Have a look at a range of drinks and check out the labels. Work out how much sugar is in each of them. How much sugar do they contain??
What drinks do not contain any sugar? Is there a difference between milk and flavoured milk? What about fruit juices?

What you will be doing.
You will be researching this issue and explaining the biology behind excess sugar consumption. you will be looking at some ideas/questions of your own about whether we should control consumption of sugary drinks, either in NZ, Nelson, around schools or here on Campus. You will draft up a research question and then find out about what sort of opinions people have about controlling sugary drinks. You will present a report of your findings which shows your processing.
